We have three different types of latches. #9237 is made by Lamp Light and comes in three sizes. They have a spring loaded, push button safety catch which holds the arm in a locked position. These are suited for below deck and lighter use. For really heavy use select one of the other two styles. #9830 is made by Buck Algonquin and #9036 is made by Schmitt. Both of these are heavily made. They are designed for transom doors but have a number of uses around the boat or anywhere a heavy, strong latch is needed.

Note: Size for #9830 is the bracket, other two models are the handle length.
