No cotter keys required. No taping. The clean design prevents dislodging accidentally or fouling lines. The Quick Pin, or “detent design”, allows for one-hand release or installation – just a quick pull or push. This type is used for applications requiring quick assembly and disassembly. Spring-loaded balls are staked in, exerting sufficient pressure to eliminate accidental release. All pins are non-corrosive, aircraft quality 316 stainless steel. “Grip Length” is the distance from the shoulder (the ring on "Quick Pin” style) to the locking ball bearings.
