These through hull fittings are designed of 316 stainless steel and have a barbed end for attaching a hose. The head has a mirror finish that makes these the perfect replacement for the plastic through-hull fittings found on many boats! For use above and below the waterline, but be careful of mixing metal below the waterline. Dissimilar metals over a period of time in a marine could result in significant deterioration of the softer metal.
